The aim of this article was to spread as much information on children book as possible. We surely do hope that we have succeeded in it.

A children book Artilce for Your Viewing
Boring Textbooks = Bored Kids + Bored Mom

Are your children growing bored with their textbooks? Are you growing tired of hearing them complain? Is it possible that your textbooks are the problem? If you've never thought about this, take a moment to think about it now. Think about how each child is unique. With this in mind, you'll be able to set out to find new ways to work with your child.

One idea... Unit studies. Doing a unit study with your child is one way in which you can help your child(ren) discover their own gifts and talents, as they learn about the world at our side. Unit studies can provide you with some wonderful experiences. So, take time to use unit studies, to begin a trail of discovery for both you AND your child(ren). This truly can be a powerful journey of discovery, because when you give your child(ren) a chance to follow their interests, the outcome can be surprising. Unit studies provide you with this opportunity. They also give your child(ren) a chance to obtain a better understanding of the way things work, the history of the world, their own abilities, and much more.

Some people seem to think that if you use unit studies that there will be holes in their child(ren)'s education. Truth be told though, no student ever completely finishes a textbook. The shame in this lies in the fact that the "good" stuff usually lies toward the end of the textbook. With a good education children are taught how to be able to think and how to build a sound foundation of learning. The whole point is to build a strong tree of knowledge for your child(ren) where upong they are able to place more information over the course of their lifetime.

As a mother, you're never going to be able to teach your child(ren) about everything, but you can teach your child(ren) how to think, how to investigate, and how to research and dig for answers. This, in and of itself, will be a priceless education for those who will be successful in a rapidly changing world. Unit studies hold all of this power within their "papers." When writing them, my intention is to provide this power for you to unpack for your child(ren). Enjoy!

I wouldn't clean my rear end with the pages of this worthless book. Very incomplete. Awful awful awful index!!!! You will look for the most simple items and they will not be there. This must have been a high school project or something. You would be better off taking the truck apart and writing your own book!!! Stay clear and save your money!!.

Here Come the ABCs [CD/DVD Combo]

Here Come the ABCs [CD/DVD Combo]
No stranger to the realm of children's records, They Might Be Giants have seen success with their CD No! and the book-and-CD combo Bed, Bed, Bed. Their latest CD, Here Come the ABCs, offers up 25 alphabetically themed songs. However, as is their charming way, the two Johns (Flansburgh and Linnell), use the letters as merely the connective tissue, allowing them to pursuit intriguing flights of fancy that consider everything from the relative power of letters and sounds to animal hijinks. Just as they've always done, there are wistful ballads and high octane rockers. TMBG have always been a family-friendly band, and this disc works just fine for adult fans, who can rightfully consider this simply their newest release. --David Greenberger

Customer Review: Great fun for everyone!

What a great, fun album! Our 23 month old has been listening to it for about 6 months now, and loves to speak along to it. Different songs are favorites at different times. My husband and I think it is catchy and fun for us, too. If your toddler is going to demand songs be repeated "one more time" as our does, these are songs you can listen to, too, "one more time" ad infinitum (almost). You even learn to sing the alphabet backward!

Customer Review: Great!

Here's another great hit by They Might Be Giants. Wonderful music and I loved the CD/DVD music combo. I don't think you can go wrong with this musical group for children.

300 Movie Spartan Shield Phalanx

300 Movie Spartan Shield Phalanx
Honoring the amazing fighting prowess of ancient Greek warriors has lead to the creation of this awesome shield. Although the shield cannot withstand swords and axes, it has been constructed with the greatest detail. The shield has been constructed from a metal circular base with the poly resin fiberglass face, painted with thick acrylic paint. On the back of the shield is a flat black finish equipped with a handle and adjustable Velcro arm strap. Other display options include a stainless steel chain for easy wall-hanging. Providing a great accent to your Greek themed costume the Phalanx shield is a great buy, and will also be noticed amongst your weapons collection. Measures 24 inches x 24 inches wide, and 4 inches when laid flat.

Customer Review: 300 Spartan Shield Movie Replica

Great shield, can't get much better than this. Pretty much right out of the movie, lots of compliments. Very high quality, would probably work as a real shield in an attack. Perfect finish for that 300 costume

Customer Review: Hardware works nice, software - not so nice.

I've attached the printer to a computer running WinXP SP2, and a USB 2 adapter I've inserted into a PCI slot.

Though every other device I connected to the USB 2 ports worked just fine, the printer would not, regardless of the many solutions offered by HP support. Eventually I had to reinstall XP from scratch in order to solve the problem. Possibly the drivers installation from the CD accompanying the adapter is somehow different (and broken) from the drivers installation from the XP SP2 CD installation.

I use an English user interface for XP, with non-UTF applications set to Hebrew. The printer auto-detects this setup, and chooses a Hebrew interface - which comes out garbled and complete useless. To top that, the black ink level is displayed, but the color ink level is not. The local support opened a call to HP abroad, and never returned to me.

That means I can't & don't use the software at all.

I'm using the printer mostly for black & white prints, a little color scanning & printing, and sending faxes. The printer performs those tasks well, with the fax being quicker than others I've worked with. I've had few problems with printing, including when printing double sides and rebooting the computer in the middle of a print run.

To summarize, the only thing I wish for at this point is that the printer would allow me to manually select the user interface language, and fall back to English.

Customer Review: If you use Windows Vista don't buy an HP All-in-One

I bought this printer/scanner/fax several months ago. It came with a software CD for Windows XP. I installed it anyway, hoping it would work. It didn't. I got a new CD from HP - specifically for Vista. The software still doesn't work. I've spent many hours with HP support, uninstalled and re-installed the software numerous times. Finally the case was escalated to HP's expert support where I was told that it simply doesn't work. They point the finger at Microsoft.

Let's see - I'm using a computer that came from HP with Vista preinstalled. I bought a product that is Vista certified. I installed driver software that is specifically released for Vista. And HP can't make it work! Do yourself a favor, buy your equipment from a different manufacturer.
