Your Weight Loss Problem: How-To Cure It By Watching Movies Or Reading Books!

I dont know anything about you but if youre anything like me then you struggle with a weight loss problem. Your weight loss problem consists of you struggling to keep your weight down or struggling to make your weight go down.

Most people who see me wouldnt believe that I have a weight loss problem, but I do. Ive battled bulimia and constant gains and losses in weight, of ten pounds each time. Thats what I call a big weight loss problem.

A lot of women and men with the same or a similar weight loss problem would sympathize with me Im sure. I want to look good (who doesnt?) so that always motivates me to go on a diet.

But after sticking to a diet for a week and dropping the unwanted weight my love for good tasting food overpowers my need to feel attractive and the weight piles back on pound by pound.

There is always exercise to help with a weight loss problem, I remind myself as I lie lazily on the couch chomping down on one of my non-diet treats. Sure! I groan I dont feel like wearing my butt out without seeing any results for weeks at a time.

Whenever I start a workout regimen I only stick to it for a few weeks (usually less) and then I get bored and drop it. So my weight loss problem continues.

How many other women I wondered (or men, for that matter) get bored while exercising? I thought about that for awhile then I set about to find a solution to help all those poor people (and myself too, of course) with this weight loss problem.

First I asked myself: What did I like to do? What did I find Interesting?

Hmmmm, well I thought I like dancing, but long periods of it are exhausting. I like to read, to listen to music, and I really dislike being on my feet for over long periods of time.

What could possibly combine all or most of these to make my exercising interesting and help solve my weight loss problem?

The solution to my weight loss problem was amazingly simple!

I own an old stationary bike, and I do mean OLD, but the important thing is that it operates. You can do this with any form of stationary bike, whether its a twenty year old model or an up to date model.

It doesnt matter whether you own the stationary bike or use a gyms or your local YMCAs or YWCAs facilities.

My weight loss problem solution is this:

Find something engrossing to read. It could be a novel or your favorite magazine. Or listen to music that you enjoy, you could even use audio books or any different CDs or things you could listen to.

I suppose if your bike was somewhere around a television or computer with a DVD player, you could even watch your favorite movie.

The next step is to mount your stationary bide and start biking while reading or doing any of the above listed activities, and not to get off for at least 45 to 60 minutes, except for an occasional rest every quarter of an hour.

I usually just keep biking away the whole time and sometimes I bike longer because Im so engrossed in what Im reading, and I wont allow myself to read it once Im off the stationary bike.

After a week of this, without change in my eating habits, or any dieting, Im maintaining a healthy weight. Best of all Im not putting on any new pounds, and my legs look visibly slimmer.

So I've kissed my weight loss problem goodbye, and I'm saying hello to slim jeans and size 6 dresses, and you can too.

For the first time in a long while I actually look forward to putting on a bikini ;-)

Versace by Rosenthal Medusa Lumiere Clear Crystal Whiskey Glasses, Set of 2

Versace by Rosenthal Medusa Lumiere Clear Crystal Whiskey Glasses, Set of 2
Lumiere, French for "light," epitomizes the delicacy and brilliance of hand-blown, full-lead crystal. Adorned with Versace's iconic Medusa head, each sparkling tumbler or stem in the collection makes a perfect accompaniment to Medusa porcelain dinnerware. The two Lumiere Clear whiskey glasses in this set are designed especially for sipping a fine single malt Scotch or a sparkling bourbon-and-soda on the rocks. Measuring 3-1/2 inches tall and holding 5-3/4 ounces, each octagonal-sided tumbler feels secure in the hand and luxuriously weighted, thanks to the dense base in which lies the Medusa image of Greek--and Versace--mythology.

Ever since Versace, Italy's provocative house of haute couture, and Rosenthal, one of Germany's most prestigious porcelain companies, teamed up in 1993, the resulting dinnerware and gift collections have made spectacular waves. Classical and wildly imaginative themes leap to life with uninhibited combinations of color and line. Also available in a colored version, each Medusa Lumiere set comes secured in a Versace gift box, sure to both delight and impress the recipient. Like all fine crystal, the whiskey glasses should be washed carefully by hand. --Ann Bieri

Carnival Ride

Carnival Ride
Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts, hastily made and released some five months after she won the 2005 American Idol crown, was surprisingly solid and tuneful. For her follow-up, producer Mark Bright steers her toward the big Martina McBride skies, with a plethora of strings and huge emotional crescendos. Underwood co-wrote four songs, mostly with the tried-and-true tunesmiths who made Some Hearts soar. On the torchy heartache ballad "I Know You Won't," she gives a beautifully nuanced and controlled performance, but if that song would suit any number of lush female pop stars from Celine Dion on down, "Flat on the Floor" rocks hard while preserving co-writer Ashley Monroe's Appalachian angst. Still, there are missteps: the easy tears of the unlikely war ballad "Just a Dream," a too-obvious attempt to repeat the sass of "Before He Cheats" ("The More Boys I Meet"), and the Shania-ish bad-girl-on-Cuervo stomp of "Last Name." The big payoff, then, is how much 24-year old Underwood has improved as a vocalist. How often listeners line up for this Carnival Ride depends on their attitude about country music's continual melding with pop, and how they feel about a princess upstart taking home the awards that used to go to her heroes. --Alanna Nash

Customer Review: Carrie Underwood

I'm not usually a country fan, but Carrie is a nice touch to Country. Almost pop music, like S.Twain and Faith Hill.

Customer Review: They call this singing?

Carrie is probably the worst singer I have ever heard. It seems like all you have to do these days to get a recording contract is look moderately attractive and scratch your fingers on a chalkboard and radio will still play your music too. Faith Hill is proof of that. Good Luck to them both, who knows maybe one day we will have a "classic" duet from them too. Just further proves where country music is heading these days. If you want Excellent country music...Stick to Dolly Parton...now that's talent.

Customer Review: Unreliable long term WD320GB

This was easy to setup and use. It comes with a 1yr warrenty and flat out died just after the warrenty expired... The company (WD) was extremely unhelpfull and insisted the product was outside of warrenty and the only way to recover my data is to pay a lot of money to an external data recovery center. You want your data safe, and this HD is NOT safe or secure. I just bought a replacement from Seagate, and while I can't say anything about how long it will work for, they are known to be reliable and that is what you want with a HD. DO NOT BUY WESTERN DIGITAL if you value your files...

Customer Review: Great Addition To My Set Up

I purchased this xmas night (tuesday) and received it thursday morning! I have an apple computer as my main workstation and was running out of storage space quick since i recently got into video editing with Final Cut Studio 2. I got this one since it has USB, FW400, and FW800, the 2 latter which stream audio and video extremely quickly (USB 2.0 sends data in packets so HD video would stutter on playback in the editor, FireWire sends data as streams).

The Drive is Very quiet, dosnt make a peep, even when reading or writing, and there is no annoying fan noise. The sleek aluminum case never gets hot and it matches perfectly to my sleek apple laptop.

Even though it is not as portable as some other drives are marketed to be, it is still very easy to transport with WD's simple button interface. Hit the center button and the drive will eject and turn itself off! All you have to do is unplug and toss in your bag or w/e.

Must have for anyone that has a lot of music, pictures, or videos.

One thing you should all know if you didnt all ready, the reason why computers seem to get slow over time is because as a HD gets full, the seek time increases for info, getting all the large files and the bulk of your collection on an external leaves the main HD fairly clean for faster system performance.

Don't get scared by its size. I thought the contents were very well presented and easy to read & understand. I thougth notes about what one can avoid from the author's years of experience was very helpful and proved to be true in many occasions for me as well.

I used this book to plan out a server deployment and migration for a client and I was very grateful for the deployment tips.

Customer Review: Too Basic for Administrator Level Work

In an administrator's companion you expect to find technical material not usually found in the typical server manual. That's supposedly the whole purpose. You expect to find an expert in the field blessing us with the fruits of their experience; experience we can't usually find in the typical book on this platform. This book is like reading introductory Windows. "Click the button by enable to enable". Step by step instructions on how to use the "Add New Hardware" wizard which came out with Windows 95. I pray no network administrator needs to be told something like that. It's like this throughout the book. So I checked the author's credentials. I discovered one of the authors is a writer of computer books. In other words, text from other computer books is regurgitated and placed in this book. Now the author has another book to add to their list of accomplishments. Some of the admin companion books are really good. But unless you need just another basic level book with page after page telling you things like "if you want this click it and click Next" then pass this book by. A good administrator companion book is usually written by several experienced administrators. Such books are out there. This is not one of them.
